Gynaecological issues are an important aspect of women’s health, which sometimes require specialist attention. I understand this can sometimes be awkward. However, as a son to a strong and independent mother, brother to two loving sisters, husband to an amazing wife, and father to a four-year-old daughter, I understand women’s needs.
I not only have the ability and skills to assist you with almost any conceivable gynaecological concern – I am able to do so with understanding, compassion, and discretion
I believe you should be involved in your care and the decision-making it requires. As such, I will work with you to tailor a treatment plan that recognises your individuality and optimizes your care. I want to ensure you have the confidence to have all your concerns addressed.
Special Interests
I performed two years of specialist training dedicated to gynaecological surgery. During this time I gained skills in performing the latest surgical treatments for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, in addition to advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques. As such I am able to offer my patients the most minimally invasive treatments where possible.
During this time I also gained a Masters in Reproductive Medicine, giving me further insight into managing sometimes challenging gynaecological concerns including the menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
In addition to these concerns I also manage:
- Menstrual disturbances
- Pap smear abnormalities
- Pelvic pain, endometriosis and ovarian cysts
- Uterine Fibroids
- Contraception
- Early Pregnancy Complications
- Miscarriage
- Ectopic Pregnancy
- Infertility
